Using "trash" to make art treasures is very much a New Orleans design aesthtic. (Not exclusive to NOLA but really prominent there.) The necklace was a seaparate gift from my mom, but they go together because Mom knows I love purple. The bead bracelet was from my SIL Amanda. The costume bangle was once my Aunt Betty's. The headband is just CVS as usual. The belt is from Boomerangs Thirft Store in West Roxbury.
