OOTD (Outfit of the Day): Making my $5 Family Dollar T-Shirt WERQ w/ Leopard Print Skirt, a pinup plus-size outfit for work
Making My $5 Pink T-Shirt from Family Dollar WERQ (as they say at Tom and Lorenzo) with a Leopard Print Skirt and Handmade Necklace - a super cute plus size pin up style outfit for work in brown, black and pink
Yeah, you know. Sometimes I'm just like, "gosh I'm cute" hahahaha. And this outfit for work is one of those instances. I love that shade of pink. Pure delightful Barbie pink. And it was $5 from Family Dollar. If you're ever in there, poke through the clearance rack. I find a lot of great basics for very cheap: $3 black maxi dress, $8 leggings, this $5 tshirt. It helps with building up a cheap pin up fashion wardrobe.
Plus Size Outfit for Work Details - in brown, pink and black
The necklace is a mix of beads from a broken Family Dollar necklace and a broken vintage necklace that belonged to my Aunt Betty. I made that new one from the two. The leopard print skirt is from my mom, for Valentine's Day. I think she purchased it at Sears. With the leopard print, I can mix both black and brown together, with the pink. Belt from a thrift store that's now closed in NOLA. Leggings are Old Navy. Leggings are the secret to making all the pin up outfit "safe for work." Plus I often wear a cardigan since it's chilly with the air conditioning in the summer months.
